Sumptuous Surfaces
Using simple techniques based on felting we will combine
wool and silk to make rich sumptuous ‘fabrics’. These fabrics
are ideal to use in art quilts and garments. We will cover
dying wool and silk, a number of printing techniques
to add another layer to the pieces, explore possibilities
of metal foils, the colour combining possibilities of the
layering techniques.
